NV Diamond in Biomarker Detection

In 2023, Harvard Uni researchers announced they founded QDTI, the quantum powered biomarker detection, which enhances early disease detection. 

QDTI uses synthetic diamond material solutions powered by NV centers to develop highly sensitive sensing technologies for diseases like cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s. The laboratory states that QDTI is essential for ultrasensitive protein detection. 

They are sponsored by element six and will continue to collaborate to develop cartridge-based diagnostic devices that could potentially be used in clinical and at-home settings So far, this product’s initial target will be the biomedical and research sectors. They plan to debut QDTI commercially in 2024
